President & Founder
Cynthia has 19 years of strategic consulting, public relations
and marketing, business development and communications experience
that has included launching dozens of companies and bringing
literally hundreds of products to market in such diverse industries
as high technology, telecommunications, retail, consumer goods,
energy, healthcare and financial services. She has worked
with both public and private companies and helped several
venture-funded companies achieve successful IPOs through strategic
communications.
Craig McDaniel, APR
Senior Vice President
Craig has built a 29-year journalism and public relations
career and has helped corporations, nonprofits and government
agencies achieve their business and service goals. A former
U.S. Air Force public affairs officer, he also has managed
agency account teams with clients in hospitality, healthcare,
finance, architecture, construction, real estate, technology,
luxury retail and wholesale distribution. Cool in a crisis,
he has handled communications responsibilities during natural
disasters, hostile business events, humanitarian relief, air
crashes, fatal workplace accidents and the aftermath of the
Space Shuttle Challenger explosion. In addition, he was an
editor at the Dallas Times Herald and other newspapers,
public affairs advisor at the Canadian Consulate General in
Dallas, marketing communications director at Young Presidents’
Organization and served for two terms on the Dallas City Council.
Shirley Birch
Office Manager
Shirley brings over 20 years of administrative, legal assistant
and business management experience to the team. She has worked
for such diverse organizations as the Texas Attorney General’s
office, Zale Corporation, XO Commmunications and Occidental
Chemical Corporation. At Promote Success she manages finances
and operations and provides administrative support to the
president.
Veronica Perez-Thomison
Associate
Veronica has managed strategic public relations campaigns
for companies in the high-tech, healthcare, manufacturing
and service industries for more than 15 years. During this
time, she has worked with well-known companies like Samsung
Telecommunications, Nortel Networks and Dale Carnegie Training,
as well as numerous start-up operations. A native Spanish
speaker, she has managed marketing and public relations campaigns
in the U.S., Latin America and Canada.
Lesley Hensell
Associate
Lesley specializes in public relations for high tech, aerospace,
telecommunications, real estate, advertising, marketing, retail
and hospitality industries. A reporter for the Dallas
Business Journal, The Dallas Morning News, Realtytimes.com,
she still writes for these and other publications on a freelance
basis. She has also worked for such PR agencies as Travis,
Wolff & Company, BSMG Worldwide, Transsynergy and PRTek.
She’s launched many products and companies (private
and public), including a large initiative on behalf of Unisys.
Lesley works with major national and local TV and print media
as well as trade magazines.
Candace Talmadge

Candace has more than 27 years of journalism and public relations
experience in finance, technology, telecommunications, IT,
outsourcing, commercial real estate, oil and gas, and healthcare
industries. With many years in the newsroom, Candace speaks
the language of the reporter and editor. She knows their needs
and quirks. She also knows how to assess her clients' business

In her 20-year career, Melody has worked for some of the world’s
leading public relations agencies, including Alexander Ogilvy,
Burson-Marsteller, Weber Shandwick and Young & Rubicam.
She is a former journalist at the Asian Wall Street Journal,
The Economist and The Dallas Morning News.
She has a proven track record in marketing communications,
advertising, corporate branding and rebranding; technology
communications; editorial services; corporate and product
launches; government relations and public affairs; corporate
communications and financial media relations; internal communications,
training programs and change management; crisis management
and international communications. At The Economist
she produced a series of co-branded books with a major chemical
company that was distributed in Asia. Melody is fluent in
Russian, and proficient in Mandarin and Portuguese.
Joyce McKee

A market research specialist, Joyce has spent more than 25
years helping corporations understand their customers and
build stronger relationships with them -- no matter where
they are. She helps companies maximize their marketing dollars
at trade shows and other business-development activities.
A frequent speaker at national and international conferences,
she has shared her expertise at nearly 100 venues on topics
such as direct mail, marketing strategies, trade shows, ROI
measurement, and lead generation and management. She has also
contributed to more than 80 articles on marketing management
issues.
Peggy Villines

With two decades of media relations and publicity experience,
Peggy has deftly represented a wide variety of corporate,
film and entertainment clients. She represented Monica Dodi
as CEO at AOL Entertainment Asylum and then later when Dodi
was a venture capitalist with Softbank. Other clients have
included Ellen DeGeneres, Tom Berenger and Boyd Kestner
to name a few. She particularly excels in garnering publicity
for special events. Peggy reported to Roy and Patty Disney
for seven years while managing national and international
publicity events for The American Ireland Fund, a charitable
organization with operations in 11 countries. Other clients
included Enature.com, the California Science Center, The
Palm Springs International Film Festival, Discovery Pictures,
The History Channel and IMAX Corporation.
Lisa Taylor

Lisa Taylor specializes in publicity and marketing for the
arts and non-profit organizations. Formerly assistant editor
of the Dallas Times Herald’s “Datebook”
for six years, Taylor’s clients have included the Dallas
Museum of Art's “Arts & Letters Live” literary
series, for which she was the Literary Café© producer.
She was the tour producer and the marketing director for DNA
Productions (the creator of the Academy-Award nominated "Jimmy
Neutron" film), and has represented the Festival of Independent
Theatres, The Crow Collection of Asian Art, Dallas Theater
Center, Undermain Theatre, Pan American Art Gallery, the dance
department of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing
